Science - leaf classifying - Scholes (Elmet) Primary School, Leeds

Year 5 and 6 have continued to work on classification keys this week. They were looking at a range of leaves from British trees and plants and initially had to identify them. Following their discussion work, they then created their own classification keys using scientific questions, that other children could use to sort and identify leaves. The children did a great job of using their scientific vocabulary. We are now leaf experts!
