We hope that you’re all well and managing to stay busy at home. Please check your emails for the isolation home learning activities and the information regarding Zoom Key Worker group times.
As Nursery is closed next week (21.06 – 25.06) whilst staff and children self-isolate, we will continue our Key Worker group times on Zoom. We know that many of you also have work commitments, so please don’t worry if you’re not able to join in with all of them. We’ll be hosting a Zoom session for each group every morning, at the same time. Please join in for the sessions when your child would usually attend Nursery.
The Key Worker Zoom invite is for one long Zoom session, please join at the correct time for your child’s colour group. You will enter a waiting room and will be accepted, once the previous group’s session has finished. Each session will last approximately 15 minutes. Please try to join promptly so that we can start the session as close to the start time as possible.
Key Worker group time
Red group – 10am daily
Yellow group – 10.30am daily
Blue group – 11.00am daily
Green group – 11.30am daily
For some of the Zoom sessions, you may need to gather a few things to take part. Hopefully, we’ve chosen things that you’ll all have at home.
Monday – Pens and paper
Tuesday – You’ll be looking for things around your house.
Wednesday – Playdough
Thursday – You’ll need to draw a 5 frame and get 5 small objects to count (e.g duplo bricks, coins, pebbles)
Friday –Two tea towels, pens and paper
Before you join the Zoom, please change your Zoom username to your child’s name. These sessions will be recorded. If you need a reminder of our policy regarding the use of Zoom, it is available to read using this link or in the safeguarding section of the website.
Finally, you will have received an email with a selection of isolation home learning activities for you to choose from. Next week, they are linked to the story of ‘Keith the Cat with a Magic Hat’. We’ll also post some songs and story videos on the website every afternoon next week, so please don’t forget to visit this page daily.
