Extended services
Just like many schools in Leeds, we work with an extended services cluster to provide additional support for children and their families – help that centres around things like attendance, emotional wellbeing and family support. The extended services cluster for our area is EPOSS.
Healthy Schools
This award demonstrates the work which we do in four areas of health: physical activity, emotional health, healthy eating and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education). Here’s just one extract from the report following the assessment visit (04.07.24):
The vision is to be a happy and healthy place to learn… this ethos permeates throughout every element of school life. The head of the federation, along with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), are fully involved in all aspects of health and wellbeing, ensuring that this is the number one priority for each school. This dedication influences the entire school community, with everyone spoken to expressing passion about their role in making this vision a reality.
Noctua School Alliance
We’re very happy to be a strategic partner of Noctua School Alliance.
Noctua was established in 2013. It was designated a teaching school in 2014, and in 2021 became a school alliance. It’s a network of schools that work with others to provide high quality support and training for teachers and schools in Leeds and beyond. An example of the work we do is supporting teachers who are in the early stages of their career.
Noctua is made up strategic and operational partners. The strategic partners are Noctua’s ‘governing body’, involved in communications with stakeholders such as teaching school hubs and local authorities. Alongside us, Noctua’s strategic partners are Tranmere Park Primary, Pudsey Primrose Hill Primary, Shakespeare Primary, Park Spring Primary and Beeston Primary.
